Good news, Stranger Things fans, if you’re in need of a break from watching, or rewatching, the third season of the series, which dropped on Netflix on July 4, you may want to try some Stranger Things-inspired shopping. Millie Bobby Brown and Converse have announced a line of collaborative sneakers, and you don’t need Eleven’s telekinetic powers to secure a pair.
Available on Converse.com and Converse.eu beginning July 11, the Millie By You line features classic Converse styles with MBB’s very own ocean-inspired designs. The current Teen Voguecover star is Converse’s youngest ever collaborator, and for the 15-year-old’s shoe debut with the brand, she created sneakers featuring 10 unique color-ways and prints. Millie shared some of the possible coloring options in an Instagram video announcement about the launch.
Below, you can glimpse some of the products in the launch, including shoes adorned by adorable Orca whales and a pair of sneakers with ocean-themed coloring. The designs will be available in two iconic Chuck styles: Hi and Ox. Fans can also customize some of the coloring and details on their sneakers.
Converse and Millie had previously teased the collection on the Converse website, with Millie sharing her excitement for creating something that her fans could wear. “To choose the colors and material and print for the shoes was really specific and special to me,” the actor said in an accompanying Instagram post about the launch.
This isn’t the first time that the Unicef Goodwill Ambassador has worked with Converse. Nearly two years ago, she starred in a digital ad campaign that summed up all the feels about returning to school. Converse joins fashion brands including Levi‘s and H&M in releasing lines timed to coincide with the arrival of the third season of Stranger Things.
From her colorful wardrobe as Eleven on Stranger Things to a puffy black jacket and high-ponytail look we’re still not over, Millie is one of our certified style icons. And lucky for us, incorporating some of the actor’s wardrobe into our own OOTD just got a whole lot easier.
